From the moment you step foot on the our property, you are greeted by vine covered walls and lush gardens that transcend you into a different era. We hope that you leave your cares and stresses behind as The Baker House 1650 prides ourself for the casual yet sumptuous luxury you would expect to find at the finest chateaus and castles in Europe. While your experience may begin here, it certainly doesn’t end until you say so.
Breakfast
Your day starts with a sumptuous breakfast served garden-side, or if you prefer to dine in your room or our breakfast room. Delivered with your choice of morning paper, we use only local and organic produce as well as farm products that are prepared and presented to perfection.
Spirits
Drinks are served from one of our well stocked bars containing a selection of the finest spirits and a superb selection of fine wines by the glass or bottle. Single malt scotch, small-batch bourbon, champagnes and cognacs are also available.
Our mini bars are available in the Main House as well as the Carriage House 24/7

Amidst our impeccable English gardens and beautiful sweeping lawn, you’ll find our infinity-edge pool artfully placed and often photographed and published for its matured, natural beauty.
Our multiple outdoor terraces and seating areas feature teak chaises for pool-side sunning are nestled among vine-covered garden walls and under our 200 year-old wisteria.
During the summer, we provide complimentary parking passes for exclusive nearby East Hampton Village Beaches, as well as Frette beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs.

One of our most distinct and unique amenities is The Baker Spa. Completed in the fall of 2000, The Baker Spa features a counter-current pool, sauna, steam shower, soaking jacuzzi tub and changing room.
Although modern in all aspects and facilities, the spa was created to feel organic to the original house, a peaceful place that seems always to have always been there.
The Baker Spa is open exclusively to Guests of the hotel only and available for private use for an additional charge. Visit our Spa menu to see options that include private use, massages, facials and purification.
