Endless Summer in The Hamptons

The August heat is here and the Hamptons are the place to be! Beat the heat at the beaches, grab a bite at hot restaurants or check out an event, there’s plenty to do this month in the Hamptons. The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce will present "An Evening of Enchantment" on Thursday, August 10 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Topping Rose House. The evening will feature cuisine by Jean-George, dancing and enchanting entertainment and proceeds benefit The Ellen Hermanson Foundation, don’t miss out! Meet and greet your favorite authors at the East Hampton Library Authors Night on August 12th. Get tickets to the authors reception and book signing or attend one of the small intimate dinners with notable authors such as Alec Baldwin or Dick Cavett. Another opportunity to check out some star power is at the East Hampton Artists and Writers Charity Softball Game on Saturday, August 19 at 2 p.m. at Herrick Park. Finally lace up those sneakers for the 22nd Annual Ellen’s Run on Sunday, August 20 at 9 a.m. The 5K benefits the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Southampton Hospital. Click here to register for run!
